The Role

We are seeking a

Senior Accountant

to join our experienced and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be qualified (MAAT, ACA, or ACCA) or qualified by experience, with a strong general practice background.

You will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, providing a broad range of services including accounting, personal and corporate tax, and auditing. The position involves regular client interaction, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Requirements:

Qualified (MAAT, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by substantial relevant experience Preferred minimum 10 years' general practice experience in a small or medium-sized firm Proficiency in

Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS

Microsoft Office

Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and audit procedures Confident, presentable, personable, and fluent in spoken and written English Comfortable handling a varied client base and working independently Audit Experience would be useful but not essential
