We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified accountant to join our team as a client manager. Our firm of Chartered Accountants specialises in providing accounting and business advisory services to start-up and early stage technology companies. As a client manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing them with high-quality accounting and business advisory services.

We are a 100% Xero based Cloud accounting firm seeking to use the latest technology to help our clients to automate and become more efficient. We are 100% virtual in terms of client interaction with staff working in a mixture of hybrid and fully remote roles.

We have an exciting and growing portfolio of innovative early stage technology companies. The practice is based in Ashford Kent and the preference is for the role to be office based/hybrid.

Role & Responsibilities



We are looking for an ambitious and highly skilled accountant who will play a key role in the future development of the practice and work closely with the practice owner.

Providing support to a portfolio of clients Review and preparation of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns. Managing a small remote/hybrid team. Preparation of Management Accounts and delivery of full finance department service to clients. Assisting clients with systems development. Assisting with development and compliance to best practice on internal processes and technical requirements

Essential Skills and Experience



Suitably Qualified with a recognised accountancy body, such as ICAEW or ACCA. Strong Accountancy Practice experience. Excellent client relationship skills Strong technical knowledge of FRS reporting requirements. Experience of consolidations with small groups. Experience of preparing corporation tax returns. A knowledge of incentives for the technology sector would be an advantage. Excellent knowledge of Xero Strong IT skills and curiosity to learn new technology that can be applied for the benefit of clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 55,000.00-60,000.00 per year
