We are seeking a Senior Accounting Technician to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Financial and Management Accounting Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial governance and compliance, support statutory accounts, and help shape the future of our finance systems. You will work collaboratively across teams, providing expert financial advice and ensuring best practice.
Support the production and monitoring of the Medium-Term Financial Plan and monthly budget reports.
Provide financial guidance to Budget Holders and promote compliance with regulations.
Assist with statutory accounts, treasury management, VAT/CIS returns, and external financial returns.
Monitor and reconcile capital and revenue expenditure.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and support project reporting and benefits analysis.
Deputise for Accountants when required and contribute to the supervision of Accounting Technicians.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualification: Association of Accounting Technicians (Level 4) or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
Experience in analysing financial information and knowledge of statutory and management accounting requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Highly motivated, efficient, and results-driven.
