BC&A is a well-established and growing accountancy firm with offices in Portsmouth, Romsey and Swindon. We provide accountancy, audit and advisory services to businesses, charities and public sector organisations across the UK.
We have a specialist and expanding portfolio of town and parish council clients. Our work goes beyond basic compliance. We act as trusted advisers to council officers, supporting statutory accounts, year end reporting and ongoing financial matters. Our approach is hands-on, professional and relationship-led.
As the firm grows, we are investing in experienced practice accountants who want to develop, take responsibility, and progress within a stable and respected firm.
About the role
This role is aimed at a strong semi senior accountant with solid practice experience who is comfortable working with minimal supervision. You will take ownership of a portfolio of town and parish council clients, attend council offices in person, and act as a primary point of contact for accounting and reporting matters.
You will be trusted to manage your workload, liaise directly with clients, and deliver high-quality work to deadlines. This is not a training role. It is a delivery-focused position for someone operating at a high semi senior level.
Candidates should live close to Swindon and be comfortable with regular local travel.
