Pendine Park Care Organisation are a long established and major provider of social care services in North Wales and are looking for an experienced practitioner with a proven track record of practical commercial experience, training and an ability to work well at organisational levels, within a strong team and meet deadlines.

Job Role



Responsible for all aspects of the client function, ensuring accurate and timely data is maintained to deliver company objectives.

The role will be client facing and the first point of contact for the Accounts team.

There is a future potential to develop other functionalities within the accounting processes, for example portfolio holder for sales ledger, bank reconciliation, payroll & pension processing and purchase ledger.

The accounts team liaise with Managers and Dept Heads on budgets, procurement and are responsible amongst other duties for Year End compliance.

Key Duties / Responsibilities



Onboarding of clients in a timely manner Communicating to clients and their representatives via phone, email, or mail. Effective daily reporting to senior management & directors Issuing client contracts & ensuring return. Maintain customer files and records. System housekeeping & updates. Assist with the preparation of financial reports. Process improvement, toolkit updating upon changes & ensuring sign off Provide support for the Accounts & Personnel team within head office Prioritisation of daily tasks and adhoc requests General department duties where required Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Aged debt review, analysis and reporting Reconciliation of client accounts Payroll processing (training or retraining available)

Essential skills & Experience:



Excellent professional verbal and written communication High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A professional and sensitive approach to dealing with confidential and sensitive data, complying with GDPR Ability to work and have a willingness to learn independently and as part of a team A positive and organised approach and adhering to required deadlines Proven experience in an office environment or similar role. Ability to follow and adhere to company processes & procedures Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (an advantage / not essential) Experience of Accounting Software (an advantage / not essential) Awareness of Payroll (an advantage / not essential) Confident in Microsoft Office 365 programmes with advanced Excel Relevant certification full or partial (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential

Hours & Salary



Full-time position Monday to Friday Salary dependant on experience to be discussed at interview
