Overview

The role holder is responsible for providing administrative support and oversight to client mandates, maintaining a high level of administrative standards across multiple portfolios which vary in complexity. Working alongside the team Manager this is an important role, our aim being primarily to achieve standardised and controlled support across all assigned mandates, consistent quality and timeliness of administrative and regulatory processes.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team Manager in oversight of the day-to-day administrative activity onteam whilst taking on day-to-day activities to support the team and team deliverables
  • Tracking completion of all administrative activity ensuring a consistent approach is applied across all clients including the completion of quality control checks across each activity as required
  • Monitoring the various administrative workflows to ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner in line with agreed SLAs
  • Monitoring the central team mailboxes / work queues ensuring each team member is trained appropriately when assigning activities for completion
  • Preparing / reviewing monthly reporting and MI
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Third level qualification in Accountancy, Finance or a business related discipline -or- relevant experience related to the position
  • Experience in banking or financial services, with circa 4 years\' experience working in a related field
  • Ability to demonstrate a disciplined and systematic approach to work with a proven capability of working effectively on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, demonstrating strong organisational skills
  • Track record of demonstrating a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a track record of successfully meeting deadlines
  • Able to interact personably and professionally with staff and customers of all levels as well as with senior executives both within and outside the company
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across different levels, both verbally and in writing. Excellent report writing skills are a prerequisite.
  • Can demonstrate a high awareness of and adherence to confidentiality and standards of professionalism
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
