Job Description

Role Purpose



To provide high-level administrative and personal support to the CEO and leadership team, while ensuring effective governance, compliance, and operational efficiency across the charity. This role combines PA duties with governance and organisational oversight, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic functions.

Key Responsibilities



1. Executive Support



Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel for senior leaders. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points. Draft correspondence and reports on behalf of the CEO or Board.

2. Governance & Compliance



Support the Board of Trustees with meeting logistics, documentation, and statutory compliance. Maintain up-to-date records of trustee appointments, training, and declarations of interest.

4. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement



Liaise with external partners, funders, and volunteers. Support internal communications and update the charity's website and social media. Organise events, training sessions, and community engagement activities.

5. Data & Information Management



Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital and physical). Ensure GDPR compliance and confidentiality of sensitive information. Support data collection and reporting for funders and stakeholders.

6. Continuous Improvement



Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Participate in training and development relevant to the role. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Person Specification



Essential:



Proven experience in a PA, senior admin, or governance support role. Experienced minute taker. Excellent organisational and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, digital tools). Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection.

Desirable:



Experience in the charity, education, or healthcare sector. Knowledge of charity governance or trustee board support. Familiarity with social media and website content management.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10,920.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 per week
