About the role

Located within UCL's, Information Services Division (ISD), and working in collaboration UCL Estates Division. A Senior Agile Delivery Manager role is required to oversee UCL's new Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) programme and other key initiatives within the portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Agile Delivery Manager with a strong background in project management and Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software implementation within the SAFe Agile Framework.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading digital projects, preferably within Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), and a proven ability to drive complex initiatives from inception to completion. This role requires strategic alignment with organisational goals to ensure successful delivery and measurable business value.
The Senior Agile Delivery Manager must have proven expertise in leading large-scale digital projects within the SAFe Agile framework, backed by a strong project management background. This role requires exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivering high-impact solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage large-scale digital projects, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with SAFe Agile principles and UCL's strategic objectives.
Develop and write robust lean business cases, clearly articulating the financial, operational, and strategic benefits of digital projects while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and measurable outcomes.
Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior Estates management, operational teams, and technical teams, fostering clear communication, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and post-implementation review, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment to develop mitigation strategies and integrate solutions into sprint priorities.
Oversee financial management, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and budget alignment with strategic priorities.
Deliver strategic project reporting and governance, providing clear, data-driven insights to senior Estates stakeholders and the portfolio leadership team, ensuring alignment with the portfolio roadmap.
Foster a high-performing Agile culture, promoting collaboration, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across teams.
This role requires a proactive leader with a strong project management background, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a track record of delivering successful digital projects within an Agile environment.
