Xirgo Technologies is recruiting a Senior AI Application Engineer to join us in creating the next generation of Smart Fleet Logistics products and solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled AI Application Engineer to lead the integration and enhancement of AI features in our next-generation video dashcam platform.



The ideal candidate will work closely with third-party AI providers and engineering teams to deliver high-performance, customer-focused AI features. They will also serve as a key customer-facing resource, helping them understand how the AI works and driving improvements based on real-world feedback.



This role is at the intersection of product development, engineering, and customer support, and is critical in delivering AI-driven features that provide real-world value to fleet operators and drivers.

General Responsibilities



AI Integration Leadership

: Work closely with third-party AI providers to integrate new AI features into our dashcam platform in accordance with the product roadmap.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with product managers, software engineers, and hardware teams to define requirements, implementation plans, and system constraints for AI features.

Customer Support & Enablement:

Act as a key technical contact for customers, providing insight into AI behavior and capabilities, and supporting customer education and issue resolution.

Issue Resolution & Feedback Loop:

Collaborate with customers and internal QA/product teams to investigate AI performance issues and lead efforts for data-driven improvements and model tuning.

Requirements Translation:

Translate product requirements into actionable technical deliverables and ensure alignment between AI partners and internal development teams.

Performance Monitoring:

Support ongoing evaluation of AI features in production, using real-world data to guide future enhancements and maintain high performance.

Experience / Qualifications



Required: + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in AI/ML applications, computer vision, or embedded systems.
+ Experience working with AI/ML vendors or third-party AI APIs/models.
+ Familiarity with video analytics, edge AI, or dashcam technologies is a strong plus.
+ Strong understanding of the AI development lifecycle, from data to deployment.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, especially in customer-facing roles.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
+ Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
+ Experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
Preferred + Exposure to embedded systems or real-time video processing. + Understanding of fleet safety, telematics, or automotive camera systems.
