Job Description

We are looking for a Google Cloud AI Engineer who is passionate about generative AI and experienced in building intelligent conversational agents. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging technologies such as Vertex AI Agent Builder, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), LangChain, and LangGraph to develop cutting-edge conversational solutions on the Google Cloud platform.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement intelligent conversational agents using Vertex AI Agent Builder
• Integrate Google Cloud and third-party LLMs to enhance natural language understanding and response generation
• Implement RAG techniques to connect conversational agents with external data sources and deliver accurate, contextual responses
• Use LangChain and LangGraph to build complex conversational flows and orchestrate interactions between AI components
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of conversational agents on Google Cloud
• Apply prompt-engineering best practices to improve interaction quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with UX designers and fellow engineers to create engaging and intuitive user experiences
• Stay up to date with the latest research and trends in generative AI

• Qualifications

• Practical experience developing conversational agents or chatbots
• Solid understanding of generative AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG, and dialogue models
• Experience with Vertex AI Agent Builder, Dialogflow, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
• Strong Python programming skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High level of English, both spoken and written

Additional Information

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and its AI services

• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
• Experience developing applications with Google LLMs (e.g. PaLM)
• Google Cloud certifications
• Contributions to open-source projects related to generative AI or conversational agents
