About Us:

ELT Heat is a leading installer of low carbon heating solutions in London and the South East. The company provides a professional and straightforward process for homeowners looking to move to low carbon heating.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join our team in a senior role installing and maintaining air source heat pump based domestic sealed systems. You will lead a team of other heat engineers and electricians to commission low carbon heating systems and maintain installed systems.

Requirements:

You will be experienced in the installation of air source heat pumps and have great knowledge of sealed systems. You will be able to demonstrate 1-2 years experience installing new air source heat pump systems. Previous experience in a leadership rola is a plus. You will have skills in domestic heating system maintenance and fault finding and experience of reviewing and challenging specifications and technical drawings. You will have the ability to work well independently and also as part of a collaborative team. You will be empowered to make live decisions and have the ability to make good judgement calls.

Required Qualifications:

BPEC L3 or equivalent in heat pump installation WRAS Water Supply Regs UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems Gas safe certification Minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent experience) for Plumbing and Heating A full, clean Driving Licence

Beneficial additional qualifications (desirable, not required):

F-Gas certification

Attributes:

Excellent air source heat pump technical knowledge. Leadership. Great problem-solving and analytical abilities. Be a team player and work well with other mechanical and electrical engineers. Excellent communication, time-keeping and customer service skills with an ability to explain work to non-technical personal. Understanding of industry regulations and best practices. Willingness to travel when required.
