Position Statement:





The Senior Analyst for Process-To-Pay Tower (PTP) will work with the Manager of PTP within Hilton's UK Centre of


Excellence. They will play an influential part in providing control oversight of Process to Pay activities and correct


expenditure accounting within Hilton by driving the efficient operation of processing and paying over 930,00 transactions


annually, covering a spend of almost $2.4b.





The post holder will be expected to coach and collaborate with Team Members in the Shared Service, Center of Excellence,


Corporate and Hotel locations to ensure the PTP sub processes are managed and measured right first time and identify areas


to optimize delivery within their area of end-to-end control. The Senior Analyst will be required to deliver accurate and up


to date financial reconciliation of complex supplier statements, provide effective and efficient control of Corporate and Hotel


Procure to Pay related Balance Sheet Accounts.


This includes ensuring key and non-key Sarbanes Oxley Operational


Excellence within their sub process and audit requirements are adhered to for the PTP process. Critical to this role is oversight


of accurate and compliant accounting treatment of Input Tax across multiple accounting platforms, maintaining Payables


Ledgers and oversight of associated activities managed by our Hilton Team in our Shared Service Center.

Experience in Procure to Pay/Accounts Payable process (or other high-volume processing and accounting environments),


outsourced service provider partnering, data mining, data and process analysis as well as identifying and delivering structured


scalable improvements are essential attributes in this role.





Position Summary:







Under the direction and guidance of the PTP Manager, the post holder will be responsible for control oversight and


intervention in the delivery and improvement of the PTP processes to ensure payment performance is optimized, financial


controls are complied with, correct accounting treatment achieved, and performance metric targets are met all right first


time.


The Senior Analyst will own sub process performance and will have oversight across the PTP tower for end-to-end process


and accounting understanding. The Senior Analyst will be required to deliver accurate and up to date financial reconciliation


of complex supplier statements, provide support and oversight of Top Supplier reconciliations in the Shared Service Team


and approve payments. The post holder will also provide effective and efficient control of Corporate and Hotel Procure to


Pay related Balance Sheet Accounts. This includes correct accounting treatment and Input Tax compliance in line with country


fiscal and accounting guidelines. The Senior Analyst will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders


including Hilton Supply Management, suppliers, Corporate and Hotel management, and Operational Finance Teams to


identify and deliver optimal operational delivery as well as identification of sustainable improvement in their area of control.


The role holder will be experienced in driving continuous improvement using structured project discipline as well as seeking


replication opportunity across similar processes in PTP Tower to drive standardization across the regions.


The post holder will participate and play a part in engendering a sense of empowerment in the pursuit of top quartile service,


supporting the delivery of PTP strategy and the team activities on a day-to-day basis. This will require a meticulous attention


to detail, the ability to understand and interpret business metrics within the Purchase to Pay tower, have sound


understanding of systems used and ability to data mine and analyze data to determine fact-based interventions and


continuous improvement identification. Articulating the case for process improvement through Power BI or other reporting


illustration is essential. The post holder will be responsible for their area of sub process PTP performance and have control


oversight of metric outcomes, this includes ensuring key and non-key Sarbanes Oxley controls within their sub process are


100% Operationally Effective and audit requirements are adhered to for the PTP process. The post holder will develop and


drive improvement interventions in collaboration with Shared Service Team Members to optimize performance.

the capacity to effectively contribute towards a strong customer-focused ethos while ensuring that a robust control


environment is maintained.

What are we looking for?







To fulfil this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Attributes and qualifications:





Relevant years relevant work experience including data analysis in finance or financial services high volume

transaction processing functions.

Fluency in English with first class oral and written communication skills is essential (with additional foreign
language a benefit)

Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and
reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to


problems.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of
potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions.

Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately
prioritize responsibilities.

Experience with typical accounting solutions with preference for candidates with experience in Oracle PeopleSoft,
Navision, Docmatrix, Documentum or other such document management applications, Blackline, Concur

Proficient in data analysis and reporting leveraging MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence
tools.


Experience in driving process improvement projects using Lean or other structured project management
methodology.



Preferred Qualifications:







Bachelor's degree or college finance related certification. Relevant accounting experience is essential with preference to those with part qualification CA, CIMA, ACCA, AAT,
however Hilton is committed to supporting professional accounting qualification attainment for the right


candidate.

Sigma Green Belt accreditation, Prince 2, Agile certified may be advantageous as will a willingness to attain.
