39,784 (National) or 45,456 (London - for London office based or home-based workers within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of 581 per annum for those working from home.

Interviews will be part of a face to face assessment, this will include a written assessment and an interview. The assessment will be held at CQC Stratford Office on a date to be confirmed.

, you'll help turn complex medicines data into clear, actionable insights that support safer, more effective care across England.

In the last year as a Senior Analyst (Quant) in Operational Insights, you might have:

Led a project to analyse prescribing trends across NHS organisations, identifying areas for improvement and sharing insights with senior stakeholders. Designed and delivered a PowerBI dashboard that helped inspectors quickly assess medicines optimisation performance in care settings.

The role




You'll play an important part in delivering our mission. In this role, you'll:

Deliver insight

: Lead complex analysis using medicines data to generate meaningful insights that support decision-making across CQC.

Support stakeholders:

Work closely with internal and external teams to shape analytical projects and ensure outputs meet their needs.

Communicate clearly:

Create compelling visualisations and reports that make data easy to understand and act on.

We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:

Experience working with medicines data

: You've used prescribing or similar datasets to produce insights that inform decisions or policy.

Ability to communicate data effectively

: You've created visual reports (e.g. in PowerBI) that tell a clear story and support action.

Leadership in analysis:

You've led analytical projects or teams, applying a range of methods to solve problems and deliver results.
