As a Senior Analyst, you\'ll be instrumental in providing crucial financial and non-financial reporting, analytics, and insights to our VP Sustainability and ESG, as well as our esteemed Chief Sustainability Officer.

Your mission? To ensure the smooth and timely flow of accurate metrics that empower informed decision-making and drive tangible results. With your expert touch, you\'ll manage and track all our environmental key performance indicators (KPIs), collaborating closely with cutting-edge internal systems to gather and analyse environmental data. Together, we\'ll make our sustainability objectives a reality.

Serving as a key coordinator of our supplier platform, you will track progress towards our Scope 3 commitments, liaise with HR, Legal, divisional and group procurement on supplier management, and develop and maintain key environmental policies related to sustainability, suppliers, biodiversity, restricted substances, and conflict minerals. You will also engage with customers and suppliers to understand their sustainability needs and perceptions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Emissions are all indirect emissions that occur in the value chain of the reporting company, including both upstream and downstream emissions.
  • Lead Smiths efforts to align suppliers with ESG strategy and commitments.
  • Serve as key coordinator of Smiths supplier platform.
  • Track progress towards Smiths Scope 3 commitments.
  • Liaise with HR, Legal, divisional and group procurement etc on supplier management.
  • Codevelop and maintain with relevant stakeholders\' key environmental policies related to sustainability, suppliers, biodiversity, restricted substances, and conflict minerals.
  • Customer needs and sustainability perceptions.
  • Supplier needs and sustainability perceptions Embed sustainability into processes and decision making.
  • Monitor and report on ESG metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee sustainability projects and track progress.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Build organizational capabilities.
