Every role here plays a part in driving our mission forward, and we create an environment where you can bring your authentic self, grow a truly characterful career, and see the direct impact of your work on the lives of our customers.

We've carved a meerkat-shaped niche and we're looking for ambitious, curious thinkers who thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. If you love accountability, embrace challenge, and want to make a real difference, you'll fit right in.

We'd love you to be part of our journey:

We're looking for a highly capable Analytics Engineer who wants to grow their individual contributor career by solving complex data problems and contributing to the foundations of a modern, self-serve analytics platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, building reusable and scalable data models, and making data more accessible across the business. You will also take on cross-domain technical ownership and contribute to technical strategy and standards across the organisation.

Some of the great things you'll do:

Lead and deliver complex, high-impact data engineering work that spans multiple teams or domains, from design and build through to adoption and long-term maintainability. Own the architecture and evolution of key data models, workflows, and transformation pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business priorities. Shape technical direction in partnership with Data Platform and Tech leadership, setting standards for data quality, observability, and resilience. Champion responsible AI adoption, identifying opportunities to automate, accelerate, and enhance delivery through intelligent tools while ensuring reliability and ethical use. Drive operational excellence across the analytics data stack, reducing technical debt, improving developer experience, and embedding reliability through better design, automation, and monitoring. Mentor engineers at all levels, building capability, confidence, and clarity in others through technical guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Technology teams to align on outcomes, reduce delivery risk, and deliver scalable solutions that empower the business. Represent Analytics Engineering in technical forums and strategy discussions, contributing to architectural alignment and data platform roadmaps. Champion inclusion and high performance, fostering a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What we'd like to see from you:

Strong skills in SQL and DBT, with experience designing scalable, analytics-ready data models. Comfortable working with modern data engineering practices including version control, CI/CD, testing, and documentation. A problem-solving mindset and a passion for building high-quality, reusable data solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams. Useful experience: Databricks, Airflow, Spark, or data platform migrations.

Why Compare the Market?

We're a business built for pace and performance. Here, you'll be encouraged to think differently, act boldly, and deliver brilliantly in a culture that values results and rewards progress.

We believe diverse teams make better decisions, and we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive.

If you're ready to stretch yourself, raise the bar, and grow with a team that's serious about performance, innovation, and purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
