We're currently partnered with a scaling InsurTech - one of the UK's most exciting scale-ups - as they are now looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join their growing team.
They are now entering a new growth phase and looking to expand their existing application with new product offering to scale and grow their apps further - this is a great opportunity to take ownership of a scaling app!
The business has raised over $100 million in funding and they are now looking for a Senior Android Engineer to play a vital role in the architecture and delivery of a world-class applications to enhance consumer experience.
What will you be doing:

Craft and enhance the core application experience across the Android platform
Scale and redefine existing apps to offer exceptional consumer experience
Be part of the technical direction and help drive engineering best practices across different teams
Ensure best practices are kept up to standard within the engineering team
Work closely with cross-functional teams to launch exciting new products and features
Share best practice and participate in code review

What are they looking for:

Experience within Android development
Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and best practices
Experience in app development using Kotlin, Jetpack Libraries, Jetpack Compose
Knowledge in building SDKs that are scalable and user-friendly
