Job Description

Senior Application Support Engineer required to join a leading financial services company and play a key role in supporting and improving core business applications. This is a chance to work with a diverse, modern Microsoft technology stack and to make a real impact on the resilience, performance and evolution of critical systems.


The successful candidate will work closely alongside both software development teams and wider business stakeholders, building strong domain knowledge and providing expert support across complex applications. Day to day, the role involves investigating and resolving technical incidents, carrying out system enhancements, and managing effective monitoring and alerting tools. Beyond this, the Application Support Engineer will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tooling, helping to drive operational excellence and application health.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong history working in application support or support engineering Experience with VB, C#, or .Net Core applications Knowledge of web technologies including React and REST APIs Experience working in an Azure cloud environment Experience with SRE principles, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), or containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
