We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technician & Architectural Technician to join our dynamic, friendly team in Raunds, Northants. Blueprint's portfolio boasts extensions, through to one off new builds, small housing developments and commercial architectural drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and technical detailing, with proficiency in AutoCAD LT. This role involves collaborating with our clients to develop innovative designs and ensure the successful execution of projects from conception through to completion.
Senior Technician Responsibilities
Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD LT.
Prepare construction documents, schematics, and technical details that meet regulatory standards and client requirements.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to facilitate clear communication throughout the project.
Provide technical support, guidance and management to junior technicians and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design solutions and improve project outcomes.
Checking of drawings prior issue to our clients.
Architectural Technician
Responsibilities
Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD LT.

Create scheme and planning drawings suitable to submit for Planning approval.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to facilitate clear communication throughout the project.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design solutions and improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Familiarity with planning and construction processes and building regulations in the UK.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy in technical documentation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
