About the role





You'll use your expertise to ensure the quality and validity of Cambridge's approach to digital language assessment and explore how emerging technologies, including Generative AI, can support content creation and enhance assessment design. You'll design innovative content that supports new assessment models, including those that embed ongoing assessment into learning. Your deep understanding of English language teaching, learning, and curriculum will be at the heart of this work, ensuring tasks and feedback truly support learner progress.


About you





You'll bring a strong foundation in English language teaching and assessment, along with the ability to apply that knowledge to innovative assessment design. You're motivated by quality, collaboration, and making a real difference for learners. To succeed in this role, you will:


hold a degree (or equivalent), a recognised EFL/ESL teaching qualification, and have a solid understanding of language assessment theory and practice. have hands-on English language teaching experience and experience of working with assessment content. have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and confidence in interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data. be well-organised, able to plan, prioritise, and make decisions based on multiple inputs. be an effective communicator who builds relationships and works collaboratively across teams.
