Role: Senior Assistant Management Accountant (Band 5)

Day Rate:

163 per day (umbrella)

Location:

Dumfries & Galloway (office-based with some flexibility)

Contract Length:

3 -6 months initially (extension very likely)

We're seeking a

Senior Assistant Management Accountant

to support the financial management team in delivering high-quality financial reporting and advice. This is a great contract opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills looking to step up in responsibility.

What you'll be doing:

Preparing monthly budget statements and variance analysis. Supporting managers with accurate costings and forecasts. Producing financial information for statutory accounts and returns. Providing training and guidance to junior finance staff. Contributing to service redesign and process improvements.

What we're looking for:

HND/AAT or equivalent, ideally degree-level or studying towards a professional qualification. 3+ years management accounts experience. Excellent Excel and data analysis skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
