The Pig And Whistle Inn, near Totnes are looking for a motivated & experienced Senior Assistant Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub Restaurant. As the successful Senior Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth running of the hospitality establishment.
- Manage and lead a team of staff members to provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality culinary standards are maintained.
- Implement food safety protocols and guidelines to uphold health and safety standards.
- Utilize bartending skills to create and serve beverages to guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Draw upon hotel and barista experience to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities to motivate and inspire team members.A professional and reliable attitude is prerequisite.

Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a hospitality setting
- Previous hotel experience is preferred
- Bartending skills and experience are a plus
- Assistant manager experience in a similar role
- Barista experience is beneficial for this position

A personal Liquor License is required for this post.
