Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Assistant Psychologist within our independent psychology company. The postholder will work within services that we provide psychological input into as well as within our harmful sexual behaviour service for young people and, as such, an interest/experience in this area of work would be beneficial. In terms of services, there is the opportunity to work supporting young people in the looked after system, and adults and children with intellectual or learning disabilities, all of whom present services with a challenge regarding their behaviours. The work is extremely varied, from assessment, individual input and training to family and staff support. The job will be supervised by our Clinical Psychologist.

We require an experienced individual who is able to manage their own diary and work independently under supervision. Due to service provision requirements, we are looking for someone who is located, or is willing to be located, in the Gloucestershire/South Gloucestershire/Bristol area. The candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Southwest of England area to our various services. Please note that we do not offer any type of sponsorship.
