A highly competitive salary and one of the best benefits packages in the market, including:

  • 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays) with the ability to buy up to 8 extra days each year
  • Two annual 'flex' windows (January and July) to tailor your benefits
  • Birthday day off + 50 gift voucher - on top of your holiday entitlement
  • Private medical insurance (discounted for children)
  • Dental cover
  • Interest-free season ticket loans
  • Staff introduction bonus scheme
  • Corporate discounts across a range of retail, travel and leisure services
  • Discounted conveyancing services
  • Professional subscription fees paid
  • Senior-level perks including health screening and permanent health insurance
Where You'll Work
The BC&R team is based across Manchester, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and London, and recruitment is open in any of these (or surrounding) locations. Hybrid and flexible working is absolutely part of the culture.
Who We're Looking For
  • A solicitor or barrister with 5+ years' PQE
  • Solid background in contentious regulatory work
  • Excellent technical ability and strong legal grounding
  • Strong client handling and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with autonomy and leadership potential
  • Backgrounds from private practice, in-house, or the Bar all welcome
The Role
You'll support a full spectrum of contentious regulatory work, including:

The team handles a blend of advisory and contentious matters, but this role is primarily focused on litigation and enforcement. You'll manage your own caseload, play a key part in large-scale projects, and supervise more junior team members as part of a dynamic and supportive national team.
