About Executive Search

Our Executive Search line of business covers over 20 offices across EMEA with dedicated Partner, Principal, Associate and support teams covering five markets; Industrial, Financial Services, Advanced Technology, Consumer and Life Sciences. Our diverse functions include CEO, Board Practice, Human Resources and Corporate Officers practices.

Purpose of the Position

Working closely with the Senior Client Partners & Principals in the Financial Officers Practice, the role holder is responsible for end-to-end execution of CFO searches across all markets, including identifying, engaging and assessing potential candidates, report writing, handling candidate interactions and providing support / getting involved in business development. This role work across EMEA, with some of the largest clients, previous roles have included CFO of Haleon, CFO for the Telegraph and CFO of the largest PE deal in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Consultants to create a multi-channel sourcing strategy to target companies and relevant potential candidates within the market.
  • Conduct thorough research to navigate target companies and build lists of candidates which accurately reflect the client briefing.
  • Identify relevant candidate profiles using a variety of sourcing techniques.
  • Execute direct talent sourcing practices and candidate screening techniques to include resume pre-screening, telephone interviewing and shortlisting.
  • Use competency-based interviewing techniques to qualify suitable candidates.
  • Reach out to engage passive candidates and screen them against agreed competencies.
  • Work closely with colleagues and occasionally hiring managers to set expectations for the recruitment process and to fulfil the required search briefing.
  • Conduct ongoing candidate pipeline development activities and talent network expansion for active and future requisitions.
  • Write candidate reports and appraisals to a high standard.
  • Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time.
  • Maintain data quality and accuracy within the company\'s internal database.
  • Handle the breadth of senior level client and candidate interactions.
The Candidate

Experience and Professional Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience as a recruiter within Executive Search, ideally already operating at C level; if not, then ready now to step up with the requisite level of gravitas to be credible in these interactions
  • Superior capabilities in candidate identification, mapping & sourcing. Does not rely predominately on LinkedIn for sourcing.
  • Knowledge of the Consumer market would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
  • Bachelors or Master\'s degree
