What the job includes:
You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding legal services while supporting the development of the department and the wider business. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a varied caseload, advising clients on all aspects of trusts, estates, and related matters.
Drafting and reviewing wills, powers of attorney, Deeds of Variation, estate administration, and trust documentation.
Collaborating with colleagues to provide efficient, professional, and empathetic client care.
Taking the lead in business development: networking, building relationships, and helping to grow our client base.
Supporting the Head of Department and Directors with mentoring, training, and developing our talented team.
What you'll need:
A qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at c.10 years' post-qualification experience in Trusts & Estates.
Excellent knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, and estates taxation, including setting up, managing, and terminating trusts and settlements.
A passion for exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.
Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal -- with attention to detail.
Confidence in managing your workload with strong organisational and time management skills.
IT proficiency, including MS Office, and an openness to learning new systems.
