For our UK Investment Banking division in London we are looking to hire a
(Senior) Associate M&A
We are building out our M&A Business, offering advice to public companies on a range of full-service M&A mandates.
We're hiring an Associate / Senior Associate into the team and this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing platform where you'll get real deal experience in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Who are we looking for?

  • Involvement in all aspects of the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) value chain, spanning across deal origination as well as sell-side / buy-side execution and overall transaction support
  • Preparation of financial / valuation analysis incl. merger modeling (combination analysis), EPS accretion/dilution analysis, acquisition finance modeling, M&A synergy assessment
  • Preparation of marketing and origination materials incl. pitch books
  • Assistance in overall M&A transaction support incl. due diligence (DD) assignments, interloper analysis as well as client DD support in e.g. investment committees
  • Oversight of overall M&A process timeline and key milestones along with preparation of the relevant M&A transaction documents incl. Information Memorandums as well as SPAs
  • Strategic research for clients
  • Drafting relevant corporate finance and related transactional documentation
  • Liaising with the relevant regulatory bodies on the behalf of corporate clients
  • Supporting other members of the team as necessary, with analysis, research and due diligence
Your Profile:
  • Excellent valuation capabilities
  • Comfortable managing complex negotiations
  • Strong communicator with high EQ
  • Ability to think broadly and challenge where suitable
  • Finance and/or Strategy background with ideally credible M&A experience and track-record
  • Profound understanding of the M&A product as well as scope of key transaction work-streams
  • Strong knowledge and toolset in all aspects of financial analysis and valuation
  • Advanced IT skills in all fields of Microsoft Office applications as well as key financial and Investment Banking databases / tools such as FactSet (or similar) and Bloomberg
  • Meritocratic mindset with strong degree of business judgment and self-reflection
  • Willingness to always put the team first and go the extra mile
