The Physical Security & Property Risk Senior Associate is a key role working in motivated, energetic and agile global team. A key player in the 1st Line of defence (1LoD), providing oversight and SME advice. The post holder will be responsible for leading all aspects of the risk Programme within the function, working collaboratively with second line of defence (2LoD) and our business Divisions, entities and customers to provide assurance of our risk programmes. The role requires you to be highly organized, with a high degree of knowledge of physical security and being an effective communicator
Role ResponsibilitiesProvide Leadership and promote Risk Culture in 1LOD, including provision of risk education/training in conjunction with 2LOD Defining, and maintaining Physical security standards and operating methodologies which ensure the safety and security of the Groups physical assets and people Act as risk champion for Group Physical Security and Property providing 1st line of defence for all Property and security related risks Working with control owners to define, mature and measure risk controls. Presenting policy changes and supporting Policy Owners and Responsible Executives in measuring policy compliance Ensuring all property related risk are identified, placed on the company risk register and mitigation or improvement plans put in place with control owner, and all actions tracked completion. Preparation of an annual plan of risk-based RCAs with input from 2nd and 3rd line Design, lead and maintain KRI/KPIs to measure efficiency of Security programme and adherence to physical security policy and standards Ensuring incident management programme continuous improvement and after-action review process is maintained and lessons learned are shared to operation teams. Ensuring BIAs and BC plans for Group real estate are in place as in line with group Policy Providing specialist security related advice to senior partners Ensure security function is audit ready at all times and support the business in customer due diligence requests, RFPs and regulator audits. Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with other key collaborators including but not limited to; Group Risk, Health safety, regional leads, business site leads, Insurance, legal, regional sales teams, CISO and Head of data centre services

Qualifications and Experience Required:
The post holder will have the organisational skills, proficiency and a keen, detailed approach to optimally measure and drive Controls, risks, Policy compliance and implementation of new risk programmes to ensure successful, positive outcome.Minimum 7 - 10 years validated experience operating at a Senior Manager level role with a Physical security dimension Experience of developing and implementing risk/resilience frameworks Communicator: A capable and confident communicator (written and verbal) - with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels Stakeholder management: Ability to identify the right partners, their specific and points of view, and address, influence and incorporate in key efforts Business understanding: Demonstrate a grasp of balance between risk mitigation and business requirements Personality: A flexible and agile approach to often last-minute changes to requirements, a positive disposition and genuine drive to inspire change is a definite requirement Organiser: Capable of implementing and maintaining innovative / business processes to achieve strategic aims Relevant security/risk management qualification would be a plus
