Are you an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer ready to take the lead on complex, high-value transactions? We are looking for a Senior Associate to drive investment and development finance deals, manage key stakeholder relationships, and mentor junior talent within a collaborative and prestigious team.



About our client





Our client is a distinguished Global Law Firm with a market-leading Real Estate Finance practice, renowned for handling sophisticated investment and development transactions across the capital stack. They advise a diverse client base, including major banks, debt funds, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors, alongside developers and investors.



The role





This is a pivotal role for a senior lawyer capable of leading transactions from the initial term sheet through to successful completion. You will be instrumental in structuring and executing a broad range of financing's, from bilateral investment loans to complex, multi-layered development facilities involving senior, mezzanine, and uni-tranche debt.



Essential skills and experience required:





5+ years PQE in Banking & Finance with significant, specialist experience in Real Estate Finance.


Exceptional drafting skills with a deep familiarity with LMA standards, facility agreements, security documents, and inter-creditor deeds.


A proven track record of leading transactions independently and managing multiple complex work-streams simultaneously.


Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills, with the confidence to advise clients on risk and strategy directly.


Excellent project management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.


Tangible experience in supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.


Location & ways of working





This role is based in London and operates on a well-established hybrid model. You will be expected to work from the office at least three days per week to foster team cohesion and facilitate mentoring, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
