JOB ROLE

To assist with management and implementation of the organisation's Credit, Operational and Enterprise Risk Governance. This will enable support of the Bank's strategic objectivesby providing meaningful insight and guidance to a range of internal stakeholders across the Retail and Wholesale Banking Divisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Credit Risk Management

Act as convenor for both Credit and Investment Committees, specifically for SBI UK Limited, working closely with CRO & CCO to set agenda and meeting planning. Complete minutes relating to CIC and ensure distribution of all papers, including resolution updates being completed in line with UK Governance requirements and timelines. Ensuring action plans originating from CIC are monitored, tracked and implemented within agreed target dates, escalating to CRO as appropriate. Assist Operational and Credit Risk managers in producing Ml for Risk Management committees.
Operational Risk Management

Assist with establishing the Bank's risk appetite thresholds and statement and reporting the same in line with UK PRA/FCA requirements. Assist with drafting various Risk policies and procedures. Record keeping and reviewing the policy diary for both Branch and the UK Subsidiary. Assist Operational Risk Manager with collation of Risk Reporting for the Wholesale Branch and UK Subsidiary, for Risk Management Committees and for compliance with IBG reporting requirements for the Foreign Office. Conducting Risk and Control Self Assessments, implementing use of the scoring matrix which is relevant for the Bank's Operational Risk benchmarking in line with the regulatory laws and regulations, and implementing/enhancing Key Risk Indicators. To provide support and educate businessunits to improve the Operational Risk assessments across the Organisation.

Assist Operational Risk team with:



Guidance to various audiences on different types of Management Information (Ml) preparation Reporting to Parent Reporting of Near Miss/Internal Loss data Quarterly Reporting of Key Risk Indicator (KRI) report and ORAM Monthly Operational Risk monitor (ORM) Monthly Loss and Near Miss report Monthly Risk Committee Ml Branch Risk Committee minutes reporting Risk Department Governance double hatting role further includes: Implementing and embedding Risk policies and procedures for UK Subsidiary and the Branch; creating new Process manuals and job cards for Risk team; Assist with managing and enhancing corporate governance throughout the Bank. Monitor major and critical risk issues for Branch and Subsidiary through the Risk Incident Reporting Process.
COMPETENCY

Demonstrable experience in a relevant role within the Financial Services Sector, including minute-taking and related committee documentation and management of. Knowledge and experience of Risk Management practices and Regulations, e.g. 3LOD model, Basel categorisation for Operational Risk. Current UK legislation specific to Risk Management practices. Technically competent /qualified Risk Management professional.
KEY INTERACTIONS/NETWORKS

All areas across the bank, specifically with regards to embedding good practice vis a vis Credit & Enterprise Risk Management
