Senior Associate - Agriculture & Land
Somerset | 5+ years' PQE | Job Ref: 215302268
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and growing Agriculture & Land team based in Somerset. This role offers the chance to work on high-quality rural property matters for a diverse client base, including landowners, farmers, estates, and rural businesses.
The role
You will play a key role in advising on a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters, including:

Sales and purchases of farms, estates, and rural land
Agricultural tenancies and related matters
Rural development and land diversification projects
Succession planning support
Agricultural finance and secured lending

About you
This role would suit a technically strong and commercially minded solicitor or legal executive with a genuine interest in rural matters. You will ideally have:

5+ years' PQE in agricultural, rural property, or commercial property law (applications from more senior candidates are welcome)
Strong transactional property experience and knowledge of the rural sector
Excellent client care and communication skills
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
A proactive, solutions-driven approach
Commercial awareness and a relationship-focused mindset
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
