An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed clinician in the Audiology team at the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust Audiology service based in Brighton.
This is a fixed term part-time post to collaboratively deliver our Audiology services.
The service focuses on the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with deafness, vestibular conditions and tinnitus. We are the regional centre for Bone Conduction and Middle Ear Implants.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a high level of clinical expertise and the interpersonal skills, compassion and sensitivity to build positive and trusting relationships with patients, families and carers, and the team.

To provide audiological assessment and appropriate management interventions for adults within the local area.
To work collaboratively as part of a team and to make autonomous decisions when working alone.
To provide complex and sensitive advice to patients regarding their hearing. Such advice might be delivered within an emotive atmosphere. To develop and advise on interventions and (re)habilitation programmes based upon autonomous clinical opinion, which may involve referral onwards to relevant intervention programmes.
Responsible for working within the adult rehabilitation team to deliver the clinical direction of the service, within the boundaries set by the Head of Audiology. Some of this clinical work to include lone working at off sites.
