Duties /Responsibilities:
Planning audit engagements, scoping work, and assessing key risks in line with auditing standards.
Leading fieldwork execution, reviewing systems and controls, performing substantive testing, and ensuring audit files are completed to a high standard.
Supervising and coaching junior team members during on-site and remote audits, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
Managing client communications throughout the audit process, addressing queries, and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Finalising audit files and reports, preparing high-quality deliverables for Partner review.
Identifying opportunities for adding value to clients through insights and recommendations.
Ensuring audits are delivered on time, within budget, and to the firm's quality standards.
Qualifications/Experience
ACA/ACCA qualified with proven UK practice experience in auditing.
Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge.
Client-focused with excellent communication skills.
Leadership qualities with experience supervising staff.
Experience across a range of sectors (charities/solicitors' accounts experience a plus).
