AECOM is looking for talented and experienced

Senior Aviation Engineers

to join our growing aviation team. You'll be working on a wide range of exciting airport projects across the North-West, West Midlands, and the wider UK and Ireland.


From major international airports to General Aviation airfields, you'll help deliver high-quality civil and pavement engineering solutions, working closely with airport owners, operators, and design-and-build contractors.


If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and the chance to make a real impact on airport infrastructure, this role could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing



Designing and delivering aviation pavement and civil infrastructure projects Working on runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, airfield lighting, signage, drainage, utilities, and pavement rehabilitation Managing and coordinating several projects at the same time Collaborating with friendly, multi-disciplinary design teams Supporting construction activities and providing technical input when needed Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders Helping prepare bids, tenders, and technical proposals Producing design reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents Making sure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For



Strong experience in

aviation engineering

A solid background in

civil design, planning, and construction support

within airport environments Experience working on

large and complex aviation projects

Comfortable working as part of

collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams

Here's what we're looking for:

Aviation experience Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent); Professional qualification: Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (or equivalent) or working towards a similar qualification.
