One of our most valued and largest clients are in search of a Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to work amongst a team of 8, mostly remote with some visits (1 day per week) to the St Pauls offices.

The Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Hire needs to understand the solution and not just the product
• Mostly 9-5 (little outside of these hours)
• Involved in stand-ups, builds, other meetings
• Agile-type operating environment but not Agile methodology
• Involved in some Sys Admin, Planning, User Comms, Migration Scheduling
• Liaising with other teams like Cyber Sec, CloudOps and building relationships with these team

Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer is required to possess the following skills/experience:

• EUC Azure Virtual Desktop experience is a must
• Citrix/Windows 10 Deployments experience is a likely background
• Windows Systems Engineer/Sys Admin Background
• Not an Architect role
• Strong Infrastructure background
• Quite a broad role (T-shaped role) so good networking, Firewalls, troubleshooting
