About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Backend Engineer

to join our client's

ML Ranking Platform team

. You will design and develop scalable backend systems supporting applications with

10M+ daily active users

, working on highly impactful AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

System design with a strong focus on

latency and scalability

Backend development using

Golang and Python

Build resilient, production-grade systems leveraging

Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Postgres

Implement best practices in

testing, SOLID principles, and design patterns

Collaborate with ML Engineers and Backend Engineers to productionize models and ranking infrastructure

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in

Golang & Python

Experience in

system design, scalable architecture, and backend development

Hands-on experience with

Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud)

Strong knowledge of

testing frameworks, design patterns, and OOP

Prior experience building backends for

large-scale B2C applications (10M+ DAUs)

Bonus Skills

Experience with

Terraform

Exposure to

ML systems or frontend (React)

Experience working on

highly scalable distributed systems

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Base Pay: 34,985.40-70,547.67 per year
