Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain

RESTful and GraphQL APIs

in

Python

and

Node.js

. Architect services that are

secure, scalable, and low-latency

. Collaborate with Android/iOS and blockchain teams to ensure seamless data flow. Optimize queries, caching, and background job systems for maximum performance. Implement

authentication, encryption, and transaction security

across endpoints. Build and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

, testing frameworks, and monitoring systems. Contribute to system architecture decisions and set API design standards.

Requirements

7+ years of backend/API development experience. Exceptional problem-solving, autonomy, and communication skills Strong proficiency in

Python

,

JavaScript

, and

Node.js

. Experience with frameworks like

FastAPI

Flask

Express

, or

NestJS

. Solid understanding of

microservice architecture

and

API versioning

. Strong database skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Understanding of

, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP). Solid knowledge of

Compensation & Rewards

Base Salary (London market, senior-level):

First 90 days:

5,000 ? 7,000 ? 9,000/month

crescending structure (approx. 60k-110k annualized during probation). Post-90 days:

90,000 - 120,000+ full base salary

depending on performance and seniority.
