We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves not only performing haircuts but enhancing the overall customer experience. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience cutting in a shop.
The Shop
Opened in 2019 in the popular Malls shopping Centre Basingstoke. Station barbers is the only Barbershop located throughout the malls situated in prime position amongst popular retailers and just across from the train station. Owned and run by local barbers the popularity has increased from a team of 2 originally to now 5 full time barbers.
Duties
Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts and beard trims with precision and care.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored grooming advice.
Assist with scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and grooming to provide clients with contemporary styles.
Must have
Proven experience as a Barber with at least 2 years on the shop floor
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Further Details
Due to the popularity of the shop we have awaiting clientele. Any clientele that you have are welcome but not essential. We are looking for a skilled barber that will fit into the team. The role is a self employed with earnings based on a % of everything you take. This means there are no costs if you are on holiday or sick. Depending on experience you can realistically expect to earn between 27k-46k.
