Overview

We are looking for a full time barista or a full time chef at the 900 Cafe in Wallingford .

The ideal candidate will have a interest in Coffee or food and will be keen to work with us to continue to improve our service.

The job will have regular hours and availability for regular weekend work is a must .

Staff are also expected to be open to cover other shifts where necessary.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food according to established recipes and standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Assist in training new baristas on coffee preparation techniques, equipment usage, and customer service skills. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, placing orders as necessary. Perform basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Greeting customers and maintaining a friendly environment Ensure the kitchen/bar is organised , clean and well maintained at all times . Proven experience as a Barista or Chef in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee culture or food and an eagerness to learn about new brewing techniques and trends.
