We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic senior baristas to join our team at our Urban Baristas coffee shop in White City.

The available position is for a full-time candidate (around 35 hours/week).

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times. Assist in training and mentoring junior baristas to enhance their skills and knowledge. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Perform basic food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Utilise basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle peak hours with ease.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is essential, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable. Experience in serving food and beverages in a cafe or restaurant setting is an advantage. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining quality service. A passion for coffee culture and a desire to share that knowledge with others is essential.
