The Opportunity
We are seeking a
Senior Bid Coordinator
to join our Construction team. In this role, you will support the preparation and coordination of tenders, new business proposals and contracts. You'll work closely with colleagues across Construction Management, Geotechnical, Design & Advisory, and Renewable Heat teams-as well as with the wider Natural Power business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven administrative or commercial experience who is looking to develop their career in bid management within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Bid Manager in coordinating bid team input, technical/commercial liaison, and securing approvals before bid submission.
Write engaging and tailored bids, proposals, and supporting documents (PQQs, RFIs, ITTs, RFPs, RFQs, and presentations).
Track bid deadlines and maintain the Bid Tracker system.
Manage and maintain tender resources, including case studies, CVs and experience summaries.
Assist with NDA and contract negotiations, liaising with in-house Legal and senior management.
Collaborate with Finance and Project Managers to ensure smooth project handovers.
Maintain reporting systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Prepare Go/No Go documentation and Commercial Review Board submissions; attend meetings as required.
Work collaboratively with bid team personnel across multiple departments.
Provide ad-hoc business development support in line with business needs.
About You
Essential criteria:
Educated to National 5, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail with excellent proof-reading skills.
Positive, flexible approach with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
Commercial awareness and/or administrative/business support experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to make decisions.
Motivated and willing to learn, with initiative to develop knowledge of our services.
Full valid UK driving licence.
Desirable criteria:
Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent.
Experience in bid management (APMP Foundation qualification).
Experience in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar, battery storage, renewable heat).
Familiarity with document management and CRM systems (e.g. SharePoint).
Experience in a fast-paced office environment, contract review/negotiation, copywriting, or AI/Copilot tools.
