Senior Bid Writer

within our Energy Infrastructure division, supporting bids for some of the country's largest network operators and private sector clients.

, you will craft complex, technically accurate, and persuasive submissions that influence how clean water reaches homes and businesses, help reduce flood risk, and support the protection of natural ecosystems.

Have experience writing and coordinating bids within construction, engineering, utilities, or wider infrastructure projects Possess exceptional writing, structuring, and storytelling ability, with a strong grasp of client-focused, benefits-led communication Have contributed to or led the written element of high-value or technically complex tenders Bring strategic thinking and can translate technical information into clear, compelling value propositions and win themes Are passionate about supporting the future of the UK's energy and water networks through high-quality, insight-driven bid submissions

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., English, marketing, engineering, construction) or equivalent experience Strong experience in bid writing within infrastructure, utilities, or engineering services Professional certification or formal bid writing/bid management training (e.g., APMP Practitioner or higher) is highly desirable * Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
