The successful candidate will lead public and private sector bids across our markets including Central Government Departments, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Health & Care Providers, Universities, Financial Institutions and Energy Companies.
The Senior Bids Executive will work closely with nominated Partner Leads for each bid and other subject matter experts across our firm. They will be supported by a Senior Bids Manager, Bids Manager and the wider Bids Team.
As part of this role, the Senior Bids Executive is responsible for managing and developing our bid content library, tracking opportunities, undertaking bid feedback/analysis, producing MI reports, and creating bid winning presentation material.
The role
The Senior Bids Executive will be responsible for:
Leading bids from opportunity assessment through to the drafting of SQs/RFIs, clarifications, tender submissions and pitch presentations
Preparing teams for pitch presentations by conducting rehearsals and providing feedback
Conducting and analysing bid feedback to ensure continuous improvement
Developing and continually refreshing our bid content library (e.g. creds, CVs, case studies, policies, social value information, client service delivery, etc.)
Daily tracking and circulation of opportunities - direct approaches, adverts and hubs/portals
Producing MI reports for internal stakeholders and external clients/frameworks
Producing work that is of high quality and in keeping with the Bevan Brittan brand by regular communication and work with BD&M team colleagues
Updating the CRM system with bid opportunities and outcomes
What we are looking for from you
Proven track record of leading large/complex bids within a professional services environment, preferably in the legal sector
Experience of public sector bids would be advantageous
Excellent bid writing, editing and proof-reading skills
A skilled communicator who can lead multiple stakeholders
Strong organisation and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple bids whilst maintaining high quality responses and delivering to tight deadlines
Good IT skills - experience of using Microsoft Office applications, document management systems, tender portals, finance systems and CRM systems
