Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. You must love your job and be able to manage the bookkeeping requirements for several clients in an accountancy practice environment.

Ideally you will have practice experience and have worked with Xero in particular.

You will need to able to review junior bookkeeper's work, provide them with support as well manage the bookkeeping and prep of VAT returns for clients reporting into the Senior Client Manager (accountant). Bonus points for having a detective like personality that likes to piece complex accounts puzzles together!

This position requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and proficiency in various accounting software.

The Role

You'll work closely with our Client Managers to help onboard new clients and get their finances organized.

Our clients often come to us with complex, multi-stream income sources scattered across various digital platforms. Your job will be to piece together this financial puzzle and implement systems that keep everything tracking smoothly going forward.

Key Responsibilities

Perform financial clean-up work for new content creator clients Consolidate income data from multiple digital sources (Stripe, YouTube, TikTok, Adsense, affiliate networks, etc.) Reconcile complex revenue streams and organize into manageable accounting systems Prepare accounts and support bookkeeping functions Liaise with clients to gather missing financial information Support Client Managers with ongoing client relationships Use cutting-edge accounting technology and AI tools

What You'll Need

Minimum 3 years accounting practice experience AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Comfortable working with digital platforms and technology Problem-solving mindset - you see messy accounts as a challenge, not a headache Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment
