A hospitality company requires an experienced bookkeeper to support our business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have previously worked within a small to medium finance function with responsibility for some or all of the range of outlined responsibilities.
The role is part-time (3-4 days a week) primarily remote working, however there may be the need to come into the club from time to time.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, a good communicator and have prior knowledge of Xero. With this being a remote role, good wifi at home is also essential. Fluent English, written and spoken, as you will sometimes need to communicate with suppliers and customers by phone and email.
Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Managing Accounts inboxes (4 companies) for invoices and supplier queries
Posting supplier invoices on Xero.
Resolving queries with suppliers.
Daily bank reconciliations.
Daily revenue reconciliations.
Entering and processing expense payments (low volume).
Monitoring credit card spend, reconciling and processing in the system.
Payroll
Journal postings
Payment run preparation (4 companies)
