- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including reconciliations and ledger management.
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage receivable processes efficiently.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with current regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
- Provide support during audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
A successful Senior Bookkeeper should have:
- A strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- An understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous experience in the business services industry is advantageous.
- A competitive salary ranging from 35,000 to 37,000 per annum.
