Job Description
GAP Home Improvements is a well-established installer of double-glazed windows, doors, garden rooms and conservatories across Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties. Based in St Neots with a vast product range & a fantastic reputation we are looking to strengthen our expanding team by recruiting a Bookkeeper.
The Role:
The role will require you to oversee the day to day accounting functions of the business. This is a part time job so allows for some flexibility in number or hours per day/ number of days worked but we anticipate around 16 hours a week to be required.
Key Duties:
Dealing with supplier/client enquiries Reconciling supplier's statements Sales/Purchase ledger Bank reconciliations Prepare weekly and monthly payments Support generation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts Competence in the use of Xero application Advance Excel knowledge VAT returns CIS returns Payroll processing General administrative duties ensuring all documents are filed and processed as required.
Role Requirements:
Driving licence (preferable) AAT Level 2 certificate (minimum) Experience of Xero (required) Experience of payroll (required) 2-3 year relevant experience (required)
Office based with working hours of 8.30-4.30
Please note salary to be pro-rata to hours worked
Please note, due to the location of our offices it is essential to have own transport

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
