Job Overview

We are looking for a

Senior Bookkeeper / Finance Manager

to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations. You'll manage everything from bookkeeping and supplier payments to cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone highly organised, proactive, and confident with accounting systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records using Xero Manage sales/purchase invoicing, reconciliations, and bank transactions Oversee accounts payable/receivable and supplier payments Track and forecast cash flow Support VAT returns, payroll coordination, and HMRC submissions Work closely with internal teams and liaise with external accountants Improve finance admin systems and ensure accurate record-keeping

Experience required

5+ years in a bookkeeping or finance officer role Strong experience with Xero or similar software Confident in managing payments, reconciliations & reporting Proficient in Excel and general IT Organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated AAT qualified or qualified by experience Experience with foreign currency and multi-currency payments (preferred) SME or product-based business experience is a bonus
