Jellyfish is hiring a Senior Brand Strategy Director on a ~12 month maternity leave coverage, fixed term contract. You will lead the marketing, brand and communications strategy thinking on client brands, developing inspiring creative briefs and ensuring the campaigns and communications we develop lead to impactful creative work that achieves client goals, grows existing clients and helps win pitches.
This is a hybrid role based in our London, UK office.
Responsibilities
Develop compelling and original strategies, building on multiple commercial, consumer and other data, for existing clients and new opportunities.
Write inspiring creative briefs that lead to excellent creative outputs of many different types.
Communicate simply, informatively but inspiringly, in strategic presentations, conversation and briefs.
Build partnerships, especially with client management and creative teams.
Develop trusted relationships with main clients, understanding their brand, business and organisation and their own team
Collaborate with diverse Jellyfish teams.
Work across a range of categories, brands and tasks, and a variety of strategic and creative solutions.
Spot opportunities for cross-sell (of new capabilities) and upsell (new products within capabilities) that firmly align to client needs.
Qualifications
You distil different data into simple, compelling, original and applicable marketing, brand and communications strategy.
You are an experience communicator with the ability to write and present strategic narratives in a way that moves internal and client audiences to action.
You have data and research experience and can use quant and qual data for strategic and creative evaluation and measurement (but not a data specialist).
You are always looking to create coherence and consistency across communications, capabilities, agencies.
You keep up to date with the latest strategy tools, data sources, including AI, sharing new ways of working, case studies and best practice.
