Due to the growth of the business, we have a fantastic new job opportunity with a leading RICS-regulated surveying practice operating across the UK for a Building Surveyor who is either looking for part-time or full-time hours.
The Practice specialise in residential and commercial building surveys, stock condition assessments, and expert witness reports for housing disrepair cases. Their tailored approach, incorporating advanced services such as drone surveys, thermal imaging, and Environmental Health assessments, consistently earns the practice outstanding client feedback.
Working as a Building Surveyor you'll be instrumental in conducting comprehensive building and condition surveys, providing clients with expert insights into their properties.
As the Building Surveyor you'll be responsible for producing accurate repair cost assessments and preparing detailed, high-quality reports for a variety of surveying needs, including housing disrepair.
We're looking for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and excellent organisational skills. Crucially, you'll be expected to consistently uphold the company's core values and adhere to the highest standards in all your work.
As a successful candidate you will be either CABE, MCIOB, AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified and will join a practice that will provide you with full back-office support from lead generation, appointment scheduling and administrative support.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Building Surveyor include:
Conduct comprehensive building and condition surveys
Produce accurate repair cost assessments
Prepare detailed, high-quality reports for housing disrepair and other surveying needs
Meet tight deadlines and maintain a high standard of accuracy
Work independently while upholding company values and RICS standards (If you're not currently a member of RICS, the company will support you're RICS Assessment)
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
CABE, MCIOB, AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS (RICS-accredited status)
Strong background in building surveying and property inspection
Proven experience with condition surveys and dilapidations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently
Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Prior experience in the construction or property industry
