The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Senior Business Adviser
to join our Market Intelligence team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver research, analysis, and business advice to support OEUK's strategic objectives and provide leading insight across the energy industry. You'll work closely with stakeholders, represent OEUK in industry forums, and help drive innovation and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver research, analysis, and reporting for OEUK teams, providing both general and specialist business advice.
Develop innovative solutions to address challenges in the evolving UK energy sector, with a focus on investment drivers.
Produce reports, technical papers, and industry insights in collaboration with the Market Intelligence Manager.
Manage and deliver projects, ensuring timely progress and alignment with business priorities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including member companies, industry associations, and universities.
Represent OEUK in industry forums, workshops, and policy discussions.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Maintain proactive contact with member companies to understand their priorities and ensure their needs are met.
About You
Minimum 2:1 honours degree (business, economics, mathematics, or engineering-related discipline).
At least 3 years' relevant industry experience.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex information.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Demonstrable experience in a business environment, providing advisory or consultancy support.
Keen interest in the UK energy industry, including regulatory and fiscal regimes.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Strong work ethic, discretion, and professionalism.
